Coverage begins when you leave your province of residence and is valid for trips of up to 31 consecutive days. Extensions may apply in specific cases such as medical emergencies.

Yes, you are covered worldwide as long as the trip is paid for with your HSBC Premier World Mastercard® and meets the eligibility requirements.

To benefit from the coverage, does the trip need to be paid in full with the card?

Yes, to benefit from coverage, the entire cost of the trip must be paid using your HSBC Premier World Mastercard® prior to the occurrence of any incident or loss.
