$1,240 is the difference between the most expensive and the cheapest iPhone
The costs of an iPhone between the 36 countries we compared are very different from one to another. We notice that the iPhone prices are relatively low in Asia, meanwhile in Europe is faced with quite expansive prices.
On the other hand, the price of an iPhone 14 in the United States is much lower than other countries, especially European countries, and Turkey. But how to explain it? Analyzing the current situation in the U.S. we notice that the main factors leading to the low cost of iPhone 14 are the exclusion of sales tax in its price (as it differs from one US state to another) and the exchange rate (collapse of the Turkish lira since 2021 against the US dollar).
Since the release of the iPhone 13, this gap between the most expensive and the cheapest iPhone in the world has continued to widen. Today the difference between the United States ($1,183.25) and Turkey ($2,423.27) is about $ 1,240 for purchasing an iPhone 14.
